You’re an actress and a singer. When did you realize that you wanted to be an entertainer?
I always knew! I started performing at the age of 3. The stage always felt like another home to me. Performing is always something I felt comfortable with. I love it!
With respect to acting, which actors do you admire and look up to?
I love Jennifer Lawrence, Brie Larson, Jennifer Lopez, Kate Hudson, Leonardo Dicaprio, Marilyn Monroe, Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, Bradley Cooper, and Anne Hathaway.
By performing on Broadway, you were able to fuse the music and acting. How much of an edge do you think this gave you with both platforms?
I think it gave me a huge edge! Being able to play a leading role, starting at such a young age on Broadway, really proved I was a triple threat. I wasn’t only singing, dancing, and acting, but it was in front of a live audience. The experience I had at such a young age, has carried over into my adult life.
Musically, you’ve been on fire! Before we get into that, where do you draw your inspiration from to perform the songs you do?
My inspiration for all of my songs comes from my real life experiences. I want my fans to feel like they can connect and relate to my life through my lyrics.
We know that you signed with Dubb Records and that you’ve been working on your solo Pop album. What’s the theme of the album?
It’s definitely a feel good vibe for my debut album I have been working on with my record label, Dubb Records. The style is urban/dancer/pop, ready to hit the club scene and radio.
What about touring? Can we expect to see you out on road after the album is released?
Yes, for sure! I will definitely be out on the road touring, after the album is released. Those dates will be announced on my website www.AshleeKeating.com closer towards the album release time. I’m so excited to get out and see my fans and perform for them soon!
If you had the opportunity to collaborate with other artists, which ones would be on your top 10 list?
Justin Bieber, Tyga, Meghan Trainor, Jennifer Lopez, Bruno Mars, Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Sam Smith, Christina Aguilera, Nicki Minaj.
If you weren’t singing and acting, what other career would you most likely take up?
Honestly nothing! If I had to choose, it would have to be something in fashion. I really love the fashion world and styling myself a lot and sharing my style with my fans.
When it comes to fashion, who are your favorite designers and styles?
I love Balmain, Givenchy, Frame Denim, Tom Ford, Saint Laurent, Christian Louboutin, Celine, Victoria Beckham, Chanel, Jefferey Campbell, Steve Madden, Alice and Olivia by Stacey Bendet, Stuart Weitzman, Guess by Paul Marciano, BCBG by Max Azria, and Dior. I would say my style is feminine, edgy luxury pieces with a modern, sexy twist.

Along with the release of my album and singles, I will be releasing several music videos as well as cover videos. I’m also continuing to pursue acting projects that come my way, as well and much more in the works!
