This week’s Weekly Beauty Find is all about Facial Cleansing Oils! We all know that oil and water do not mix but now a new era of technology has allowed oil and water to mix and create a brand new brand of makeup removers and facial cleansers. My new favorite facial cleansers are the oil cleansers. As you massage the oil into the skin, it perfectly dissolves makeup, including mascara and eyeliner,  in an instant. There are many choices for dry, combination or oily skin and many formulas include vitamins, coconut or Argan oils and botanicals to nourish and moisturize the skin while leaving no residue when rinsed. Safe enough for the eye area, they also thoroughly cleanse the skin without irritating or stripping the skin.

Department store facial cleansing oil brands include Sulwhasoo, Clinique, MAC and La Mer. The drug store brands are easier on the budget but no less effective and include brands like Boots No 7, Neutragena, Burt’s Bees and Laneige. For oil-prone skin, the Shu Uemura Porefinist Anti-Shine Fresh Cleansing Oil is formulated to dissolve and wash away excess sebum and blackheads.

If you find your cleanser leaves your face dry and tight, try a cleansing oil. I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised and a new fan! Plus the ultimate benefit of great looking skin is always a plus!! Give it a try……..
