BEHIND THE SCENES – Jacqueline Toboni

We go behind the scenes with Jacqueline Toboni in our October 2014 Fall TV issue! Just under a year ago, Toboni graduated from the University of Michigan. While attending the university, she played on the basketball team, where she was eventually cut from the roster. But, it taught her resilience and how to deal with failure. Definitely, the necessary skills set to work in the entertainment industry, especially as an actress.

Fast forward a bit and she’s now, the breakout star of NBC’s Grimm. In this fourth season, Jacqueline plays the role of Trubel. Trubel has had a tough road, she’s killed to survive, and been on the run for years. With that horrific past, it’s created a lady to be feared. However, there is more to her than just that. She’s rugged and tough, but also, extremely genuine and innocent in many ways. In her inaugural season, Jacqueline has done an amazing job in developing her character as a Grimm. What you expect to see in this upcoming season? Toboni tells us, “While Nick and Juliette deal with Nick’s loss of his Grimm power,  Monroe & Rosalee try to enjoy married life, Adalind is locked up, Trubel is getting into Trubel (trouble), per usual, and the gang is dealing with some real threats from the Wesen community.”

Jacqueline Toboni’s fashion shoot was done on location, in “the forest” as she expressed in the behind the scenes video. She wore the latest collection from designer, Sarine Marie.
