BEHIND THE SCENES – Matt Letscher & Brian Letscher
We go behind the scenes with Matt Letscher & Brian Letscher, who were both featured in our February 2015 Anniversary issue. It’s not too often that you see two brothers as actors, and even less often when they happen to be on the same project. On the show, they played on opposite sides. One tried to kill the Vice President, the other was accused of killing the President’s son. It really is a big mess. Of course, we’re talking about ABC’s Scandal, a fan favorite and one of the hottest shows on television! To give you a little back story on these brothers, both of them are from Michigan. How did they get in the entertainment industry? Well, Matt Letscher attended the University of Michigan, and immersed himself in the theater space. On the other hand, Brian Letscher found his passion for acting later on in life. Now, they’ve now team up to do a funny comedy series about a couple of guys in their mid-life years, trying to start up a basketball team. The series, One and Done, was crowd funded through Kickstarter and has been airing around the same time as the NCAA’s March Madness. Matt & Brian gave us inside information and discussed how they got this project going and what you can expect from the show itself. The show is not relegated to simply basketball, but rather, the message applies to friendships, you marriage and family life.
In the behind the scenes video, Matt and Brian did a fantastic job with their fashion shoot, wearing suits and pieces from designer, Moods of Norway. As you can see, they had way more fun than we anticipated. That’s the definition of One and Done. You probably saw Matt Letscher on HBO’s Boardwalk Empire and by now, also on CW’s The Flash. Brian, just finished a pilot, Maple and Malone: Private Dicks. Slow down, they pilot is actually about two non-licensed detectives in Santa Monica, CA. And, apparently, they never solve any of their cases, but somehow always provide their clients with solutions.
