For our February 2014 Anniversary issue (available on App Store/ Google Play), we went behind the scenes with Rhea Seehorn, whom you may recognize from NBC’s Whitney. She’s now on AMC’s Better Call Saul, the prequel to the very popular Breaking Bad. The story takes place 5 years prior to Breaking Bad, so you get an in depth view into the mind of Saul. You really get to know how he became the person that he was on Breaking Bad and what factors led to his many bad decisions. Rhea plays the role of Kim Wexler, Saul’s confidant of sorts, and yet trying to safely keep her distance. That’s a fine line to walk, but Seehorn plays the role brilliantly. Amongst other things, Rhea shared with us, regarding the series, that Better Call Saul is not Breaking Bad Season 6, but rather Better Call Saul, Season 1. And although she was a fan of the show, she wanted to make that distinction so that fans could truly appreciate Better Call Saul for what it is.
We had a great time working with Rhea, as she got all dolled up for the photoshoot. All the red carpet and high fashion dress fit her like a glove. And, even though she swears that she isn’t a model, she sure made it look easy. If you’d like to keep up with Rhea and all her upcoming projects, please follow her on Twitter: @RheaSeehorn
