ON TREND – Fendi
The house of Fendi was launched in 1925 as a small leathergoods and luggage shop by Edoardo and Adele Fendi. In 1446, their 5 daughters joined the family business and in 1965, they brought in an up-and-coming designer…. Karl Lagerfeld. He is credited with coming up with the double F logo, from his “Fun Fur” collections. Today, Karl is still at the design helm and Fendi, part of the LVMH luxury giant, is known worldwide as one of the top luxury brands.
The collection for Spring/Summer 2014 is a fabulous mixture of subdued and bright colors, geometric designs, laser cuts and sheer organza. Silhouette configurations of bandeau and crop tops, slim skirts, figure skimming dresses and boxy jackets give a sophisticated, sexy feel. Here are a few of our favorites from the collection…..
