Get the Look – Winter Hats

Hat, Chapeau (French), Hatt (Swedish),  Chapéu (Portuguese), Hut (German), Sombrero (Spanish), Bōshi (Japanese)………whatever language you speak, hats have a universal language all their own! Not just for utility, hats can add a bold statement to your style while also offering a fun remedy for a bad hair day.

With winter in full effect, a great way to conserve body heat is with a fabulous topper. Of course, hats are not just for daytime, lovely cocktail hats are back in Vogue again! Hats are a great way to take your look up a notch. Do not be afraid to wear a stunning cocktail hat with a great pair of skinny jeans or a vintage dress. Or, try an elaborate Fascinator style (small hats with lots of embellishments) hat with pencil pants and a great sweater or suit.

Classic fedoras are always in fashion and can be worn with any face shape; you just have to find the one that fits well. Always look at the proportion of the brim and the crown and if in doubt, find a great hat store in your city and let the professionals lead you to the perfect statement making hat!
Here are some of my favorites from Giovannio Hats.
