Red Carpet – BAFTA Awards 2016

The BAFTA Awards 2016 fell on the coldest night in four years in London but, the Stars brought the heat to the Red Carpet at The Royal London Opera House. The overall theme was classic beauty as in a John Singer Sargent painting, which Annabelle Wallis exemplified in a beautiful red Oscar De La Renta gown. Olga Kurylenko stunned in an ivory gown with a beautiful portrait collar. British model Lily Donaldson wore a modern take on a classic romantic peasant style while showing that black was a popular color for the night along with Kate Winslet, and Heidi Reed while Angela Basset stunned in a gorgeous fushia dress.

The gentlemen were dapper and refined in classic tuxedos. The standouts were Steven Spielberg, accompanied by his beautiful wife, actress Kate Capshaw. Bryan Cranston wore a double breasted Velvet tuxedo jacket and newcomer John Boyega represented the younger set in a beautifully tailored black tuxedo.

The Red Carpet was refined and Classic, nothing overdone, nothing too glittery, simply beautiful and elegant.
