I’m sure everyone can agree with me when I say, that there are days when the creative juices are NOT flowing! Don’t just let the creative block overcome you. You have to look to other things and sometimes, in other places; in places you wouldn’t normally think to look. Well, I looked to one of my favorite candy bars for inspiration, an Almond Joy. Yes, a candy bar! It may seem weird at first but it’s the exact inspiration I needed for this look.
I had these awesome Rayon pants from Alternative and these brown & black Siren wedges I have been wanting to shoot for a while now. The problem was trying to pair the two pieces together. I had trouble at first but the Almond Joy sitting on my kitchen counter was the solution. It comes in a Hawaiian brown, black and blue package which was exactly the look I wanted to pull together. So I set out to find a tasteful Hawaiian shirt, which I easily found at one of my favorite stores, H&M.
Once I combined everything, I fell in love! What about you? The next time you’re having trouble putting a look together, don’t sweat it. Just dig through that candy jar in the kitchen and you just might find your answer!
