ON TREND – More Oxblood

From the fall/winter runways to the newest trend in interior design, Oxblood is shaping up to be fall’s go-to hue and is fast becoming a closet staple. It tends to be deeper than burgundy, with more brown undertones than red.

Oxblood, or Chianti could easily be classified as a neutral. It looks good on every skin tone, and can be easily mixed with other neutrals like grey and camel as well as jewel tones like royal blue, amethyst, even real red.

Perfect for this time of year with the change in weather and even with the slightly creepy name, Oxblood is definitely a hot hue to have in your fall wardrobe rotation, especially if you wear a lot of black and grey, like me.

I’m so excited about this color trend! Fall into it!
